I am curious about something
If a person not diagnosed with MS, was found to have blockage or narrowing of the jugular veins, would that person be able to have an angioplasty performed to correct the problem?

Kilkenny that is an interesting question...I hear some people had been found to not have MS and still had blockage. That why the CCSVI is still very questionable and only a piece of the puzzle.

That's true. It's also true that there are people with MS who don't have the blockages. Go figure. Nothing in life is simple, and MS is obviously no exception.

Good morning,

Yes you are correct if you do not have MS and are referred to a radiologist who discovers you have stenosis of the veins you will receive treatment. If you have MS you're out of luck.

Personally I'm not 100% certain this procedure is what it is cracked up to be however what you bring up is outright discrimination against a specific target group and that I do not understand. I'm fortunate to know approximately 8 friends who have gone overseas at various locations in order to get the venopasty performed. I will be monitoring them for the next six months or so before I decide if the results are truly real because quite frankly some of them are absolutely amazing.

Take Good Care
