For approx.. the past 3 months I have been experiencing fatigue -this happens to me first thing in the morning, mid-day, early evening ..anytime of the day without notice.

The dr. put me on amantadine but I had to stop taking it as was causing me difficulty to urinate. I have both typpes of bladder issues:  frequency as well as hesitation problems.

anyone take meds for fatigue?  Which ones?

Hi Trixie.

We were having a conversation about Alertec over here: http://www.msdiscuss.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=450 (I tried to make the link pretty and just embed it, but that didn't work for some reason.)

You might want to check out what we were saying. Alertec is the most common Rx. (I think, or perhaps only the 2nd most common) given to people with neurological-based fatigue. It works really well for some, not so well for others.

It might be something you check with your neurologist about to see how he or she feels about it. Talk about the pros & cons. It has made a big difference in my life. Without it, I end up spending most of the afternoon sleeping on the couch. Not a great way to live your life.
